Blue Eye Trevalla
Petuna’s Blue-Eye Trevalla (Hyperoglyphe Antarctica) is among the cool temperate zone’s most highly regarded table fish and is very well suited to sashimi. Its white flesh is firm, moist and delicately flavoured.
We catch Blue-Eye using drop lines and auto long lines on the rocky bottoms and seamounts in the in the South East Australian Fishing Zone, which incorporates the Tasmanian continental slope.
Petuna markets the Blue-Eye catch as whole gutted fish and fillets. The size range is between 2kg and 9kg.
