Global Young Chef Culinary Challenge
Petuna Ocean Trout was recently involved with the 5th Global Young Chef Culinary Challenge which was hosted in Hobart..
This prestigious international chef’s challenge saw the crème de la crème of young chefs from some of the world’s most prestigious five star hotels, restaurants, hotel and catering schools enjoy working with the finest of Tasmanian produce to create their amazing dishes.
Out of the 60 young chefs from 15 countries the team from the Thailand Culinary Academy took out the first place prize. The Henry Jones Art Hotel came third which is a fabulous result for a Tasmanian team.
“The feedback about our Petuna Ocean Trout product was very positive amidst the young chef’s and we hope this will increase our orders to those 15 countries via a new breed of product ambassadors” commented Tim Hess.
